The quote is from Robert Murray McCheyne.

He was a minister in Dundee, Scotland, who only lived to be around 29. He was a student of Thomas Chalmers and contemporary and good friends with the Bonar brothers and most of the other pastors in the Free Church of Scotland that formed right after his death. They were all involved in a revival that swept through Scotland in the early-mid 1800's.

I thought I'd post one of my favorite quotes.

'Get your texts from God - your thoughts, your words, from God... It is not great talents God blesses so much as great likeness to Jesus. A holy minister is an awful weapon in the hand of God. A word spoken by you when your conscience is clear, and your heart full of God's Spirit, is worth ten thousand words spoken in unbelief and sin.'
